Description: Lemon Verbena, native to South America, used in food, beverages, and used in alternative medicine due to its therapeutic properties, including being anti-inflammatory and calming. It has become a rave in the essential oil world. It is used in perfumery and aromatherapy, and smells lovely enough to be diffused on its own. Lemon Verbena produces very little essential oil, making it more expensive.
