Where to start. First, has shown promising results for fighting cancers. Obviously, that’s huge. Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory, hence, its anti-cancer abilities, as well as fighting other inflammatory issues. Turmeric oil is also anti-microbial. Some are surprised to know that Turmeric is also good for neurologic and mental health, being used for both anxiety and depression, and also alzheimer’s. This doesn’t even come close to summing up the benefits of Turmeric essential oil.
So if you shop for essential oils purely based on aroma alone, you may be missing out. Turmeric doesn’t overpower your blends, and in many cases, can help bring your blend to the next level aromatically. But even if you don’t want Turmeric essential oil for its scent, it’s always great to have for its therapeutic properties.
