Description: Cananga essential oil is similar to Ylang Ylang in scent, but is not quite as strong in it’s floral scent. Cananga and Ylang Ylang are often confused as being the same. They are related, but not the same oil. Cananga is used in perfumery and is often used as a more affordable alternative to Ylang Ylang. Cananga has been used to lower blood pressure and used as a remedy for other ailments as well.
